We have 3 kids and have helped them on occasion, but for the really big things, they have all done it themselves and thats when you know that as young adults they will survive in society and be productive.

In discussing the Rochas' request for property from the home, Peterson said some of the items, such as Laci's journals, could not be turned over.

"Scott didn't even know she had journals," Peterson said. "If she did, police have them."

If Laci DID keep a journal, and these rumours she was verbally or mentally abused, or even if she merely found out about the affair(-s) Scott was having, then they are certainly relevant. So I'd like to know why Jackie says Laci's journals CANNOT be turned over, then says "If she (had them), the police have them." Does she know something? They were in the house most of the time since Scott was arrested. Seems to me they'd have found it by now themselves.

Still wondering why they took Laci's Tiffany lamps to THEIR attorney's office, when Sharon specifically requested them, as they were an heirloom by Laci's grandmother - much like the diamonds Jackie wants back ( to sell and pay off Geragos, no doubt).

Yes, I think most of us with grown children have done the same thing, help with the little things once in awhile.

But with Scott...and what we have seen of his parents...I'm betting it went well beyond that.

From what I have read he was a salesman of a Spanish fertilizer. The details of whether he actually worked for a company or was an independent contractor are hazy to me(haven't really followed that aspect too much).

He had a penchant for wanting to appear to be a "player" and lived well beyond his means. Image seems to have been of more importance than substance.

I can't imagine he made enough, without help from Mom and Dad, to support his lifestyle.

I am sure that if Laci had kept journals, Scott found them and destroyed them. Remember not long after she went missing he was throwing tons of items into the trash. I am sure he went thru the home looking for anything incriminating that she may have written down. It seems the petersons are making a big fuss over rings, journals and baby's things. The rings were probably going to be used to pay for the defense fees. The journals were probably destroyed by Scott. The baby's items that Scott claims he wants destroys the motive of him not wanting a baby. I hope wacky jackie keeps talking. She reveals very much when she does!

Remember, the person who talked to Greta the night of the "visit" to the house stated there was no jewelry found nor was there any discussion of jewelry while she was there. So, either the police confiscated it in earlier searches, or Scott and the Petersons already took care of it.

The report that Amber received some custom made jewelry, possibly Laci's will be interesting to learn if true.

Yes Rusty, I remember...and I also remember seeing a live report from Modesto with the reporter saying that they were asked not to discuss the jewlery...something is up with that...

Fox is reporting that Geragos is now claiming that a pair of Laci's shoes were found a few blocks for her house.

I missed that!

Who supposedly HAS these shoes?

What.....she was snatched so forcibly that her shoes fell off?

Or was she ordered to remove her shoes by her abductors?

Or did the shoes fall out of a box from the trucks who made the Rocha visit to the house?

Do we have DNA confirmation that these ARE Laci's shoes?

Were a pair of her shoes left outdoors and a neighborhood dog carted them off?

So many possibile 'spins' for Geragos...limited ONLY by his imagination.

If her shoes were found a block from her house, and she had been wearing them as she was 'abducted' then Jackie P doesn't have to worry about the Rochas 'contaminating' a crime scene in the house, does she?

Rick Ross, who has studied cults and cult behavior in the United States for more than 20 years, told KTVU's Mornings on 2, that Scott Peterson's defense team was floating an alternative theory of the slaying based on a debunked urban myth.

Rick Ross has mostly "studied" Jewish believers in the Messiah. On that, he had made up his mind they were deluded, long before he started "studying" them. I haven't heard from him in years, but back then he carried the appearance of a hate-monger, not a researcher.

FWIW.

Found when? At the time of her "abduction" or just recently?

Yup "a baby", the typical "detached" Peterson style!! This is a very sick family from the head on down.

Yeah, she was snatched so quickly in broad daylight, that she was pulled right out of her shoes and nobody saw it!...
Or the Satanists wanted to leave a "calling card" and stopped to make her remove her shoes so they could leave them behind...but went to great lengths to dump her body so it would never be found and made sure to hold onto her body, wait for Snott's alibi so they could plant her body there so to frame him...

I believe some collector would pay a large sum for that chair, or her wedding ring.

I am not sure that a reputable collector would, but some psyco nut who gets a kick out of this kind of stuff sure would.

"Scott didn't even know she had journals," Peterson said. "If she did, police have them."

Jackie, please. Then why did Geragos say he had worked out an agreement to let Laci's family take the journals and two other items?

Link

Defense lawyer Mark Geragos says he has worked out an agreement to let Laci Peterson's family visit the house and remove her journals, a food processor and a watering can that said "Laci's Garden."

**Scott's mom can blow it out her *&&@#*(# **

And there's plenty to blow, Mo1.

I am continually amazed at the callous behavior of the Peterson's, especially mommy dearest. I'm betting Geragos is using the twit to promote whatever agenda he currently has. Just sickening.

What he wants, he won't be entitled to if he is convicted since he cannot profit from his crime. I may be wrong, but I don't think he can get most of the stuff if there are other heirs with valid claims such as her family. Especially gramma's jewels. I think this would be an easy decision for a probate judge.
