Where did that word come from anyhow? How did that term come to be? I know where redneck and various other words along the same lines come from but I've never heard the history of "wetback". Anyone want to teach me something new?

"Wetback", refers to the practice of wading or swimming the Rio Grande to gain entrance into the US.
