What happened here one of Clinton's scandals was about to put an incompetent person into a position of power defending our country. Follow the chain of events. It's true but few care.

There were some double meanings to several of these posts. This thread developed at a time when Harpseal, a recently deceased FReeper, was concerned about IT layoffs.
Perhaps TylerDare should document this event and get a book published by say Sept. 15? It would be quite helpful for the Republican cause. People do care, actually.

Why would Clinton apologist, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., open up this can of worms?

Some info on Laura Crabtree Callahan
In her civil suit affidavit, however, Lambuth charges that she told her White House supervisor, Laura Crabtree, of the glitch as soon as it was discovered. Crabtree "quickly understood the technical and legal severity of the problem," Lambuth attested. Lambuth says Crabtree warned her she "was forbidden to say anything to anyone concerning the e-mail server problem. Crabtree told me that if I did talk about the e-mail problem, I would lose my job, be arrested, and jailed," Lambuth said.

See link in #24. I bet you remember this blast from the past.
She's the clinton toady that threatened Betty Lambreth with
jail if she discussed the Clinton WH e-mail "glitch".

Thats a good question and I did go over to the hill and try to talk about this to a certain group there. They made it very clear to me that the only focus would be on the degree mills. They were not concerned with the events leading to this. I know the person who managed to get attention to this by GCN staff and I'm sure no issue would have risen if o pres had reported on it. Once GCN reported on it the major newspapers were embarrassed into reporting on it. I know for a fact that the degree info and website to Hamilton was given to the DOL IG in early 2000.
Do you not find it unusal that she was on admin leave for that long?
I have suffered much from these events.

I do a web search time to time to see if anything has been reported. Found this.

Why would Clinton apologist, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., open up this can of worms? I have no idea what her motives are....
BTW, I understand Callahan was finally fired last week.

Did you know her husband works for the Secret Service?

Did you know her husband works for the Secret Service? If I really wrack my brain, I can vaguely recall something to that effect.
My turn to ask a question: how did she manage to go from a low-level IT person at the Bureau of Mines in Pittsburgh to being in charge of the Clinton WH IT staff, and is there any connection between her and Craig Livingstone, the Pittsburgh bar bouncer who became the head of the Clinton WH Security office?
To: longshadow
I do not have direct knowledge of this but "I am told" that Craig Livingstone got her into the Whitehouse. At the WH she was very low level until the day she "took charge" without approval of her supervisor, of the email issue.
You do know of this. Very impressed.

"I am told" that Craig Livingstone got her into the Whitehouse. This has long been my suspicion, but I could never find any public info to corroborate it.
Livingstone was a bar-bouncer somewhere in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh, about a 5 minute walk from the Bureau of Mines where Laura Crabtree (later Callahan) worked. I figured the odds of both of these under qualified people ending up at the Clinton WH by coincidence was just stretching credulity to the limit.
There had to be some connection; I'd be curious to know what it was.

I find a LOT of things that go on in DC "unusual".
For the life of me, I will never understand why all of
this has continued to be swept under the rug. You are intimating what
a lot of us here have known for a long time.....
that there is documented evidence of criminal activity
that could bring down both of the Clinton's, and perhaps
the entire democrat party.
My question is, why are they still being protected?
BTW, I am sorry to hear of your suffering....did you work in the Clinton WH?

In one case I had heard that Livingston was a political Bureau of Mines. I am not sure what is true. It is ironic that you bring up the Bar bouncer because she that was exactly her style. She had one of her henchmen that she brought into Labor. Shawn O'connor. He was a former bar bouncer. She brought him into labor as a Booze Allen contractor then got him a GS-15 with a 20K bonus. He also did contracting at the Whitehouse and MSHA. There is an IG report on the illegal hiring she did at Labor and it includes info on the bonuses paid and can prove what I just said. It was never put on the DOL website as other reports are. I have a copy of it that I got from someone who did a FOI request on it. It fails to mention that most of those hired under strange circumstances were previously employed at the Whitehouse.

That is my exact same theory on why the CONTENTS of the Judiciary Committee memos have not been discussed....nobody wants to "go there" on either side of the aisle.

I am convinced that criminal activity is the way of doing business for the federal government. They answer to no higher authority and any who decent are attacked ruthlessly. The "Inspector General" system does not work and there is little accountability. I am somewhat nervous about posting this info here even though I have used a different name.
