Berlin: A tenant had to leave his home because he flew the Israeli flag (Translation)
Israel Army Radio ^ | June 5, 2003 | Yigal Avidan, Germany

Posted on 06/05/2003 12:39:58 PM PDT by yonif

Translation by me from Hebrew to English,

In Berlin, a tenant had to clear his rented apartment out after he flew the Israeli flag on his apartments roof. He decided to rather leave his apartment after the owner demanded he removed the flag, due to complaints of the tenants and the spraying of the building with anti-Israel grafitti.

The owner said that the flying of the flag threatens the safety of the tenants. The man, Ralph Shroder, said that he flew the flag cause he wanted to express solidarity with his friends in Israel.

With demilitarize, I mean that Palestine shouldn't have a military force.

That the Palestinians shouldn't have a military force? Is this what you mean? Every Muslim Arab nation has armies and weapons and they love them. Impoverished Syria and Egypt have a huge armies. Islam is an aggressive religion from the get go. Mohamed engaged in many battles. No Muslim nation or state will agree to be unarmed, without a military. Just won't happen. Or if the Palestinians agree to it they will violate this stipulation as soon as they can.

Just because the nations of Europe disarm themselves doesn't mean Muslims will be reasonable and do the same.

During Oslo era the Palestinians were allowed a police force which immediately became much larger than authorized and became an army of sorts. They'll do the same this time around

I´m waiting for your proposals how to make peace in Mid East WITHOUT killing all the Arabs there.

I believe in this plan. Go HERE

Israel took in all the Jewish refugees, while the Arab world refused to do the same (cause after all they told the Arabs, who would otherwise been citizens of Israel) to leave Israel become they were going to unleash war on Israel.

That's from the Palestinian National Authority International Press Center.

It conveniently leaves out that these "freedom fighters" dressed in Israeli uniforms and snuck into an Israeli army base to conduct their attack. (this is a violation of the geneva convention, a treaty which the palestinians aren't a member of)

THIS is published by the Palestinian Authority during the "roadmap?"

Disgusting.

Do you really think the Palestinian leadership is willing to go all the way for peace? They aren't even pretending to take it seriously!

I suppose the biggest difference between us is that I have trust in the measures taken by the big four in order to establish real lasting peace in Mid East and you have not.

I haven´t called Hamas a "military". I meant a real military force, Palestine shouldn´t have for the first decades.

Can you point to one single success of the "big four?"

Using your logic, how about Israel expels all arabs, then waits a few years, and annexes it all? Then we will have facts on the ground and can ignore history, as you suggest we do.

Basically, yeah - but that would mean that Israel had to ignore international law, like the Czech and Poles did after WW2, and the Germans during the war. Indeed, the Poles and Czech were rewarded for the expelling of Germans with the land they got illegally.

Palestinians are not wanted in any country, like the Kurds. They should get their country and their chance to become a peaceful nation. If it doesn´t work, international troops still can go in...

I don´t believe in that plan, because it will never be accepted by BOTH SIDES (as it could be the case with the Road Map).

It´s the first time that the big four take united steps for peace in Mid East. I have FAITH.

The Palestinian leaders need pressure while a way is shown to them how they can get their own country without violence if they feel obligated to peace.

"The Palestinian leaders need pressure while a way is shown to them how they can get their own country without violence if they feel obligated to peace."

Oh, you mean like the Oslo Plan?

Oops, that didn't work - Arafat wasn't interested.

Do you think that Mazen will really "crack down" on Islamic Jihad, Hamas, al Aqsa Martyrs(part of Fatah, the party of which abu Mazen is a founding member)? Or will he get them to participate in a temporary "cease fire" while it's members are moonlighting as "PA Police" and get rearmed and trained by the CIA, like last time?

"I have FAITH."

I'll tell you one thing, your opinion sure isn't borne of facts or experience!
