I got some skeletons in my closet, and I don't know if noone knows it.

Utah Girl checking in here. The Haitian taxi driver I got at the pier drove me around Coral Gables for 20 minutes or so trying to find the hotel. Coral Gables is a lovely place, but the Haitian guy prevaricated when he said he knew where my hotel was. I had a great time, and I'm ready to go again.

My favorite memories are Interesting Times in the piano bar (he has a wonderful voice), the waiters singing "Happy Birthday" each night to some lucky guest at dinner; meeting many wonderful FReepers and their families; being waited on hand and foot; and the beach party in the Grand Caymans. I can't wait to go on the next FR cruise.

I also want to thank Leni (Bahama Mama) for all the work she put into setting this cruise up. It wouldn't have been such an outstanding success without her. Thanks Bahama Mama!!!

A groggy Bahama Mama checking in after the long drive from Miami to her grass shack on the Florida gulf coast.

Don't know what's worse, a week of freeping withdrawal or another week of cruise withdrawal.

We had so much fun! The Free Republic Network events went like clockwork thanks to our great cruise committee, our travel agent, the lovely Wanda, plus the personable Chane from Pretoria, South Africa, who was our group's shepherdess on board. Later, I'll post thanks to the individual committee members and the generous donors of Welcome Bag gifts and other amenities we enjoyed.

By acclamation, our group wants another FRN cruise next year, and so it shall be. Start saving the bread, folks!

I made so many new freeper friends and the bonding with fellow conservatives was worth every penny of the trip. Many thanks to our Captain of the Fleet, Jim Robinson, for creating Free Republic which has made fun and fellowship events like these possible.

More later, but right now, it's early to bed for me. Those late nights in the casino and the midnight buffets were rough (heheh, I loved every minute of it!)

By the way, minutes after the group pic was shot, we serenaded the hundreds of diners right from that same staircase with a freeper choir rendition of "God Bless America" as only we can sing it, yikes! Our ingrained freeping impulses are never on vacation!

Just checking in! Wonderful flight home ....actually arrived early. Am hitting the hay early tonight. Took medicine to help relieve the ear problem on the plane. Can hardly stand up. You'd think I was on the ship or something. tee hee!

If I had to be a fish, it would be a Ray. I've waded with them, when fishing in the Yucatan, and there is something so peaceful and mesmerizing about them when they smoothly glide by. I envy you and D. being able to touch them!
