Posted on 06/07/2003 12:58:54 PM PDT by Seeking the truth

The FRN "Freeps Ahoy" Cruise aboard the Carnival Cruise Triumph arrived back in Miami this morning.

No SARS, No Norwalk, No Terrorism - just a hell of a lot of fun, food and sun!

As the first cruiser back at his computer, I have the honor of starting this thread and posting the above pic, which was taken at the foot of the staircase descending into the "London Room", which was the dining room each evening for our Freeper Contingent.

I've gone over the name tag list and the notes of this group photo. I hope I didn't leave anyone out.

As other "Freeps Ahoy" Cruisers return home, they will be adding to this thread. Pictures? There are thousands of them!

Wait to you see your fellow Freepers frolicking with the Sting Rays! the Mayan ruins, Duns River Falls ... etc.

Cool stuff.

Wish I could afford to go on one of these things.

Who came up with the BOS (Big Ol' Sign)?

Start saving now! Man, did we eat good!

The sign is BobJ's I believe. We did this during Thursday nights dinner, so a bunch of other folks in the dining room got to see us real up close & personal.

The more Freepers the better!

How'd you get all those good looking women to hold the sign?

We plied them with rum for a whole week. Then, we sicced "The Shrew" on them - or maybe, it was Stela. I can't remember.

I am sitting in the Red Carpet Club at Dulles International Airport and will be unable to defend myself for several hours and wanted to pre-emptively strike this thread!

The cruise was simply a blast! I didn't get email, phone messages, late night frantic customer calls, or read the news for an entire week! It was great.

I did run (On an elliptical trainer!) about 40 miles this week - which hopefuly will counterbalance some excellent food - and managed to thoroughly enjoy myself. Best tan I've had in 30 years!

I must say that the Freeper ladies are indeed stunning, intelligent and charming. I intend to use that photo to refute future efforts to characterize Freepers as angry white men!

It was a pleasure to dine with you and your lovely wife!

Regards,

TS

Great cruise thread title! WHOTCSOTC!

You just remember that when you want to start posting with that huge Irish grin of yours items about your fellow conservatives!

Jim, I would petition the chairman to add the above acronym to the official Freeper Lexicon! Your troops represented you well and many new freepers from various walks of life were brought into the fold this week! Someone might consider posting a welcome newcomer thread at some point this weekend. The above photo was taken in front of about 600 people! They were all buzzing about the well dressed people who talked politics and seemed to be having a blast! Not an angry liberal in the bunch!

Regards,

TS

Wow! Then you missed our takeover of both Canada and France. They were glorious victories! (kidding)

Dittos, Shrew.

The missus is already sound asleep. Nothing like a week long Freeper cruise for rest & relaxation! HAR!

We actually cruised with a member of the Canadian Air Force as well as a number of US Armed Forces Service men/women on leave. They were impressed by the Freepers and we had a great time!

TS

It's so true that we all did a great job of "Recruiting" during the cruise; especially, as we seemed to close down the Piano Bar every night!

Wow! Then you missed......

No, I missed so much that my Email - usually only has email in it for a week! So, when I just opened it up to last 7 days! It was empty! Scared me good!

Lots to catch up on!
