to the prom they are racist but if these muslim girls choose to host their own all female prom and boycott the traditional prom the press doesn't raise a stink? This is diversity?

Not to mention the sexism aspect. What are these clowns doing in this country anyhow? If they're so into Islam, why aren't they living in one of their Islamic paradises where all this freakiness would be normal?

At least they weren't gathering to play golf, the press might have been outraged that these girls were excluding the boys.

All you'd have to do is announce the regular prom was for anyone but Muslims and CAIR would file a lawsuit demanding Muslims be allowed to go.

While comingling wih the opposite sex has its hazards, you miss out on a big part of the human experience if you don't get to know members of the opposite sex. College? How is she going to avoid comingling there?

I know that temptations abound when you associate freely with the opposite sex, but living like this would like being in prison.

Arabic Rap?

17 and 18 and NOT married yet?

Who's version of Islam is this anyway?

Islamic religion requires Sharia. Is this the false flag of Islam? Or are there REALLY other acceptions?

Or are there REALLY other acceptions?

Ever observe all those nice little Arab boys away at college? Away from their parents' observing eyes? They're wilder than any of the guys and what they bring back after a night of drinking sure look like hookers. And the women in their tight tight jeans their parents don't know about when they're on campus?

Yes, I'm aware of those actions too. But, they have justified those actions in their minds already.

See, if you are mujahideen, once you kill yourself in the name of allah, those sins are foregiven.

BTW, another accepted spelling of mujahideen is mujahidden I like that one better: Muja - Hidden

Islam is filled with "exceptions". Did you ever ask a Muslim about mutaa'? Those are the short term temporary "marriages" that work out real great for their one-night stands. They aren't "fornicating", they just have this short lasting mutual agreement marriage. Ask a Muslim guy what happens if he impregnates his mutaa partner.

What was really surprising about that mutaa ---the guy has to give the girl some kind of gift in exchange for the sexual favors ---but it's NOT prostitution you must realize. It's just a one night marriage ---or several weeks.

Well I have NO idea what happens if a girl is impregnated by mutaa on all accounts.

I DO know that is how half (or most) First Ranked entered the US in the early 90's to become citizens.

The First Ranked that I know that had children with his Mutaa actually loves them. Or maybe they are a tool? He ironically had all girls with his mutaa wife. So they are arranged to be married to Egyptian men. Boom, more citizens.

I guess if they love the girl, they may decide to provide for the kids ---if they don't want to pay child support, they don't have to ---what to do about the pregnancy is the girl's problem ---and they do use abortion. It's too difficult for unwed women to work and raise children alone. I was surprised because it was devout Muslims who told me about it ---they agreed with the practice.

I can relate to that.
I did not go to my "prom".
I did join the USAF, and I am nauseated that the fruit of my labor has apparantly enabled the noxious sight of Islam in the USA.
Islam is not compatible with freedom.Islam is a quasi-religion(cult)based on subjugation of the individual.
Ananthema to personal freedom and individual responcibility.
Impossible to practice in peace with any free people.
Islam is destruction of freedom.
As is Socialism and Communism.Islam is not strictly speaking, a religion. It is a political view, with myriad cultish enforcements pretending to honor spirituality.
One may hope the predominate Mullah one day reads about Jim Jones and decides to preach the path of Kool-aide.

Oh, come on, Moonmad! Let's say you move to Qatar to take a job as an oil company executive. You mean to tell me that you will quickly adopt the ways of the Muslim, forswearing alcohol, and worshipping Allah? Please. You would remain an American, and would act as an Anglo-Saxon.

I went to a couple of proms and thought they were idiotic. Mind you I had some good times, but the whole thing was mostly for parents to take pictures of their kids. Now, they're so ridiculously expensive that I feel most parents are insane. You can get rid of proms in high school IMHO without missing a beat and everything will be fine (though the girls and mommies will probably invent something else to spend a zillion dollars trying to look beautiful on.)

Amen. I went to a homecoming dance when I was a sophomore. The music was awful, way too loud, and I didn't like the strobes flashing one bit. So we went to another friend's house and played computer games, and had a much better time. If my daughters want to do this prom thing, they can pay for it themselves.

I have no problem with a one-gender prom for Muslim girls. It sounds like a sensible thing to do, and a way for them to fit in without changing what they believe.

"Many Muslim parents disapprove of what they see as an excessively secularized and liberalized American culture..."

Many Christian parents disapprove of the same thing.

If they want a separate prom so they can avoid the decadence of the regular one, more power to them.
