[history]
June 10, 2003 -- WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a lone thumbs-down to one of President Bush's favorite lawyers last night, voting against the appointment of Michael Chertoff to the federal appellate bench.
Despite Clinton's vote, Chertoff - an early skeptic of the Clintons during the Whitewater investigation - won 88 other yes votes and was easily confirmed to the Philadelphia-based 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, which covers New Jersey.

Just another thing we can all bring up, when she runs ... for whatever office. LOL
She holds a grudge, when the grudgee can't do her any good. When he can ( Slick ), she's all " saintly " forgiveness. How proud Nelson Mandela must be of her. snicker, snicker ....
Actually, she DOES have a lot in common with Mandela ; WINNIE ... not Nelson !

Hillary needs to get on her knees and ask God about the meaning of forgiveness. I hear she prays quite often. The first thing you learn as a Christian is forgiveness. It's the key to salvation.
Matthew 18
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Chertoff earned Clinton's enmity as Republican counsel to the Senate Whitewater investigation, which involved the Clintons' Arkansas land dealings.
So much for 'moving on with the business of the country', eh?

The business of the country always came after the interests of the clintons.
And it always will.

Not a surprise. She is totally consumed with "getting" those whom she perceives as enemies.
Anyone who thinks she wouldn't spend her time in the White House mounting an all-out assault on her opposition is a fool. She would go after Rupert Murdoch, the National Review, this web site, the Bush family, Rush Limbaugh and all of talk radio, the NRA, Focus on the Family, and anyone who looked cross-eyed at her while mopping the White House kitchen.
She is unsuited to be in a position of power. Period.

Witch... he was simply fulfilling the duties of his position, a concept that she obviously has no intention of following herself.

Sen. Clinton offered no explanation for her vote.Another lie.
She thinks he's a jew bastard!
To: kattracks
But some very liberal senators - including Jon Corzine (D-N.J.) and Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) - insisted that Chertoff was well qualified and deserved the honor of a unanimous vote.I am deeply troubled by these "yea" votes for Chertoff.
To: kattracks
Although Sen. Clinton frequently says that she is not focused on the past and is willing to let bygones be bygones with conservative Republicans, she clearly remains bitter a LIAR

Hillary needs to get on her knees and ask God about the meaning of forgiveness. I hear she prays quite often. The first thing you learn as a Christian is forgiveness. It's the key to salvation. May I offer a slight adjustment?
Fundamental to forgiveness, in the Bible, is repentance. An unrepentant person feels no need to receive forgiveness, and no obligation to give it. Mor importantly, an unrepentant person is an unforgiven person.
By all indications, expecting Hillary to be forgiving (especially, as in this case, of people who never wronged her!) is like expecting a lion to seek out a salad bar.
