I'm voting for Bush, and of course the Dems want to increase the role and power of government in our lives, but there are too many "moderate" and liberal Republicans that don't want to see government programs cut either, and with Grassley pushing for this prescription drug benefit, spending and power of government will only increase.
I hope Bush will push for more private solutions. So many people think every human problem MUST have a government solution.
I also would like to see more federal programs pushed down to states and communities, so that if the government HAS to be involved, at least it will be at a more local level.
