If she had divorced him, after she was elected to the Senate, her popularity quotient would have risen.

The Clinton's are "together" for 3 reasons:
1. Status
2. Money
3. Power
Neither of them would have much of the above on their own.

She can't divorce him. He knows too much about what she has done. There is no statute of limitations on murder.

Hillary CLinton should buy Chris Rock's CD and follow his advice as to what her corrective actions toward her husband Bill should be.

They'll never get a divorce so long as spousal privelege is necessary to cover their crimes.
To: kattracks
Barf!! She does not even care if Bill has affairs as long as they remain private! She is not interested in anything with Bill except P-O-W-E-R!!!

Re #3
You nailed it. Their marriage is more like a business alliance than a real marriage.
To: kattracks
I always figured that the Clintons had an open marriage. He chased after girls and so did she. Their marriage was for convenience.

What actions did Chris Rock recommend?
Probably too blue to post, huh!

The whole point of this book deal is to get all Hillary all the time (the victim) - for a run at the 2004 slot. [I wouldn't doubt that this is all part of the original "plan" she and ol' Billy Boy drafted up years ago.
Perhaps we need some negative press to counter her plans? Trouble is - that just stirs up the Hillary talk even more. What's a concerned Freeper to do?

Who is going to prosecute them? The Senate was too gutless to even call witnesses. Who would conceivably charge them?

You also didn't mention the fact that they are immune from having to testify against each other for any crimes...

"Okay, Bradley," King should have asked, "then is it true as Washington rumored for years that HELLary is lesbian? Is that why the Clintoon Admin started with Gays in the Military and never got off the gay theme? Is that why HELLary didn't really care how many affairs BJ Bill had with women?" Let's really allow the Clintoons to reduce themselves to tabloid level, since HELLary has blasted the "stand by your man" trash in our face.

Hellery's plan:
1) Use Bill to get to the White House
2) Divorce him after the Inauguration

The dirty little secret that Hillary has left out is who and what she really is and depending on how well the push to get "sodomy" as a civil right goes will depend on what path Hillary takes.
If this nation goes to the gutter totally and makes "sodomy" a civil right then Hillary will come out of her deep dark closet.
To: kattracks
These two(Clintons) would do anything to regain power and the Whitehouse...if they thought divorcing would do it for them, they would divorce.....The poor woman just couldn't take any more humiliation....another sympathy vote tactic.

the book, its high profile release, and Hillarys softball interviews all point to her candidacy. And when anyone questions her sordid criminal past, she will cleverly respond: Ive already covered that in my book its old news, and Im looking forward. She will get by without answering a single critical question!

They will stay married, if for no other reason than her White House run. Part of the strategy is to convince the Clinton groupies that if they elect her, he will be there in the White House as well. That's why I think she is running this time...first her book comes out, sucking attention away from the other candidates and making the convention a big fight. She will get the nomination to "draw the party together."
Then HIS book comes out in 2004, during the campaign, so that he can go on all the talk shows and get free advertising for her campaign. The TV will consider him a separate person, so if W is interviewed she will also get to be on . W will have to fight BOTH of them to get re-elected.
I am hoping their scheme backfires.
