Oh, I disagree! Sometimes one side will hire one of these big-name experts and put him on their list, just to make sure he's "ruined" for the other side to hire! It's a game, in which they try to create conflicts for the other side's expert, so that they can (they hope) use the conflicts to try to discredit him when he's on the stand--IF what he's testifying is bad for their side.

These guys like Henry Lee make their living off all this crap--all this posturing, and double-dealing.
