Michelle Malkin On O’Reilly About Illegal Alien Serial Child Rapist

Malkin: “Good question, Bill. You know, It’s a shame and it’s pathetic that so few people are even asking this question out loud. In fact, only you in the broadcast media and me in the print media have actually thought to put it down and put it out there. The San Jose PD confirmed for me after a simple phone call that this guy was an illegal alien but there’s still many unknown facts. Enrique Sosa Alvirez may not be his name, he’s used a number of aliases. The Department of Homeland Security is scrambling to find out what his true identity is and what his immigration history is.”

O’Reilly: “Even though all that’s true they have his fingerprints, they know he was convicted of a crime in California. That automatically means he should have been deported. There’s no excuse for him even being here. Then you have the INS (or whatever they’re calling themselves) running for cover as always.”

Malkin: “ Exactly. It only underscores that homeland security and border security and interior immigration enforcement are still just jokes, jokes, jokes in this country. As you say, he was convicted of a prior crime of auto theft. What’s really troubling is that the police department can’t tell me if he served time for that crime. This is really key: under Federal law any criminal illegal alien, after they’re sentenced is supposed to be taken into INS or Federal immigration custody right away. That never happens!”

O’Reilly: “Here’s the problem: (I’ll tell you why.) San Jose Police Department Official Policy, Section 17911 says ‘San Jose police officers may not initiate police action when the primary objective is directed towards discovering the alien status of the person...’ That is to say that even though they knew, in San Jose, that this guy was illegal they couldn’t tell anybody!”

Malkin: “Can you believe that these sanctuary policies still exist in a post September 11 environment?”

Malkin: “Even in the liberal enclave. San Francisco still has their policy in place. Los Angeles still has their liberal policy in place. How many other children have been molested, raped or kidnapped as a result of this policy of handcuffing cops from helping cooperate with immigration enforcement?”

O’Reilly: “Of course. John Lee Malvo or Lee Boyd Malvo or whatever he wants to call himself...the accused sniper. There is some good news. Here in New York City Mayor Bloomberg has revoked this crazy thing because four illegal aliens allegedly raped a poor woman out in Flushing, Queens; almost killed her. We went on the air saying ‘This has got to stop.’ Bloomberg got an executive order through so now New York City cops arresting an illegal can call the INS and tell them. However, (here’s what’s interesting, Michelle. Maybe you can comment on it), Bloomberg didn’t make it public. It was secret. He didn’t tell anybody he did it.”

Malkin: “ Yeah. That kind of calls into question his commitment for repealing it. I’m glad that the policy change was made and that some cops may feel emboldened enough to go ahead...”

Malkin: “Well, c’mon! This guy was announcing after September 11th that New York City would remain a safe haven and a refuge for illegal aliens. After he repealed this so-called policy he’s still sending signals to the Open Borders community that the city is still there to provide services, welfare services for illegal aliens. He did a half-step...” O’Reilly: “He did the right thing but he didn’t want it to get out because he didn’t want to lose votes because New York is a very immigrant-heavy city. Another topic: Have you run across anything President Bush has ever said or ever done about this issue?”

Malkin: “About interior enforcement very little. We know from his appointments of open-border types like James Ziglar (who’s now gone) where Bush stands on enforcing immigration laws against criminal illegal aliens. While the Justice Department has taken some steps to crack down on illegal aliens from terrorist-sponsoring countries, they haven’t done enough about anywhere else while we know these places are sending criminals to our country.”

Forget about SARS; this invasion has led to record unsolved crimes in U.S. history. Bush has to deal with this before the election if he doesn't want his party to slide back (for betrayal of immigrants who toughed it out, learned English and attained citizenship legally through hard work and the sincere desire to be Americans). The occupying citizens of our "good neighbor South" unwilling to adapt will be tolerated until too many of these barbaric "incidents" horrify even the light-loafered lib academic types. I don't know why there's no action yet. Too many lesser-skilled and non-represented citizens are out of work due to illegals willing to work for blatently illegal rates of pay while under-the-table hiring cheats not only the government but all of us who ultimately make up the difference (add government-mandated education and health care for the 8 to 13 million estimated people who shouldn't be here). Then add in their children. Yes, that's real money we're talking about. Ted Kennedy feels we should take BACK in convicted felons already deported because their "anchor babies" would suffer from paternal deprivation even though those men were rightfully kicked out. Ted's craven abuse of the "Bon American" policy just illustrates why we have to revoke it as soon as possible. Europe (due to its crisis with Arabic Islamists and Africans without skills) has seen almost all its members modify their own laws in this regard. Sometimes (in France's case) the barn door is shut too late. The same can happen here if we don't mail or email our reps. Often.

IL citizens to pay college tuition for illegals?

The Illinois House's 112-4 vote on March 5 to grant in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens was a wholesale capitulation to the cheap labor lobby and the Mexican government.

Among those courageous few who remembered their oath of office and something called the rule of law was my representative, Robert Biggins (39th), and I thank him for his proper vote.

The bill (HB 60) is now in the Senate Education Committee and could be brought to the floor for discussion at any time.

"This all about pandering and doing whatever it takes to get elected or reelected," state Sen. Chris Lauzen (21st) recently told me. Lauzen says he will not support HB 60.

Since losing a court case in 1987, the University of Illinois has been doling out tuition breaks to illegals.

Nevertheless, Tom Eakman, the school's executive assistant vice president, is a big booster of this legislation. He told me it only makes sense for Illinois taxpayers, who already have given illegals 12 years of public school education, to pick up the tab for four more years of schooling.

Eakman conceded that forcing out-of-state students to pay substantially higher tuition is unfair, but these students have the "option" of remaining home to take advantage of their own lower rates. Illegals in Illinois have no option, he says. What about the option of these students returning to their own countries and studying at their colleges and universities?

Eakman said discounted tuition is costing UI "nothing," but that may soon change. Federal law allows out-of-state students to apply for refunds of the difference between what they are paying and the lower rate. And the Friends of Immigration Law Enforcement (http://fileus.com/dept/tuition/index.html) in Washington, D.C., stands ready to assist those seeking such refunds either individually or as part of a class action.

This administration has done nothing or very little about securing the borders, stopping the issuance of driver's licenses to illegals, stopping the acceptance of those phony ID cards issued by the corrupt Mexican government, or anything at all about rounding up and deporting illegals or enforcing laws prohibiting employment of illegals. That's not very good considering what happened on 9/11/01, I'd say, given the fact that the primary function of government is to protect the country from invasion and to protect U.S. citizens. Something is really, really wrong here.

Details Emerge in Calif. Abduction Case
Man Arraigned in San Jose Abduction Case; Prosecutors Say 9-Year-Old Girl Repeatedly Assaulted

SAN JOSE, Calif. June 12 —
Prosecutors said a man who abducted a 9-year-old last week sexually attacked the girl in her house before taking her to his home and repeatedly assaulting her again.
Deputy District Attorney Matt Braker said the girl was eventually able to persuade her abductor not to kill her and to let her go.
Investigators praised the girl for convincing her kidnapper she had asthma and could die without medication. She also memorized his cell phone number, which helped authorities make a quick arrest, the girl's mother said.
"I taught my daughter to be very observant and strong," Roselia Tamayo said Wednesday outside her home. "She knows how to fight."
As new details of the girl's two-day captivity emerged, prosecutors pressed their case against the man accused of abducting her, Enrique Sosa Alvarez. Police say he used several aliases, including David Montiel Cruz, the name first reported after his arrest. He was arraigned Wednesday under the name Alvarez.
Alvarez is charged with nine felony counts including rape, sexual assault, assault and burglary charges that could send him to prison for up to 115 years.
He appeared in court in handcuffs and chains with his right arm wrapped in gauze. The suspect was attacked by a police dog during his arrest. His next court appearance was set for July 1.
Alvarez's attorney, Carl Beatty, said he will offer more evidence and his client may enter a plea at the July 1 hearing. Beatty declined to discuss specifics.
"We do a full and fair investigation and realize our system works best when we don't rush to judgment," said Beatty, who was appointed to represent Alvarez only hours before the hearing.
According to the police report, the girl spotted a broken bedroom window and noticed that some of her belongings were missing when she returned home alone from school Friday.
She tried to call police but the cordless phone didn't work. Then she saw the man standing outside her sliding glass door, the report said.
The report said the man forced his way inside, raped her in a bedroom and tied her up. After fleeing the home with the girl in his car, he raped her three more times and threatened to kill her twice. Once, the report said, he tried to smother her with his hand, later with a pillow. He stopped only when she fought back and begged for her life, the report said.
Sunday night, the kidnapper drove the girl to a liquor store 30 miles away, where she called her mother's cell phone and gave police key details including the attacker's address. Police found Alvarez hiding in the attic of the home, which belonged to his former girlfriend.
Between the girl's persuasive ability and the intense media coverage, authorities allege Alvarez became rattled Sunday night and drove the girl to the store several cities away and "basically told her to get out of the car," Braker said.
Within hours, the girl had supplied authorities with enough details to help police find him. The girl remembered many digits of her kidnapper's cell phone number and related the delivery of a pizza which police tracked to a house near where she was taken Friday after returning home alone from school.
Police said Alvarez may have met the victim earlier when she played with his girlfriend's twin 11-year-old daughters. The girlfriend reportedly moved out with her children several days before the abduction.
Authorities were still trying to learn more about Alvarez and determine what contact he had with other children. They said Alvarez was previously convicted of auto theft, but he doesn't appear to have any sex-related crimes on his record.
The girl's mother said her daughter is "nervous and still in shock" and refuses to leave home.
"All that she says to me is `I don't want you to ever leave me,'" the mother said.
