My son-in-law is a police officer in a neighboring city.

This creep was stopped for SPEEDING.

He apparently had attempted to kill a CHP officer in the past.

He is said to be a 4th striker, but one of his violent crimes occurred before the 3 Strike Law.

Many good citizens were instrumental in nabbing the suspect. I'm thankful to them.

So that's what a routine traffic stop is.

And this is why police officers often are critized for "overreacting". Every stop they make has the possiblity of ending this way.
