i believe australian special forces found most of them already, I recall there being a story on this.

We already found their air force. It was buried out in the desert. I believe the Air Force General was shot a couple of days before the war started.
Poor guy probably said "General Saddam I promise not one of out fighters will be shot down!" "How can you be sure?" Saddam asks. "Because they are buried in the desert!" Bang.
