Oh, I'll be right over. I was so mad at my Mom (okay it only lasted for 5 mins.) when I found out she gave my brother my "Dad's fishing rods". Hey Mom, - two of those were MINE, and by the way, in that bunch was my bow! Shucks, when I tried to get them back from my brother, who had become someone else after I moved out of state (know what I mean? They only stay the same if you are around to hit 'em upside the head when they get stupid?) used that old line on me that hadn't worked since I was FOUR. "Possession is nine-tenths of the law." Really burned me.
Then Mom gave me my Dad's fishing tackle box, and life was really, really good again. It even included the red roe my Dad had had to string on my hook 'cuz I wasn't going to touch any ol' fish eggs! It is a treasure. Suppose God will let me bring it to Heaven with me? Yeah, I thought not. Sigh.
Honest to goodness Gramma, some day I am going to come and visit you. You and
mtngrl@vrwc, when I've got my RV and am travelling around the Country, just touring, me and the pooch I will buy to keep me company. I can't wait.

Well, fine then, you won't get any dinner from Ms. B, Fawnn, and I. (Fawnn's dreaming up the menu, and Ms. B and I are doing the cooking. You get to wash the dishes!)

I took lotso pics of Texas Governor Rick Perry yesterday in his running clothes after he participated in the 4K run at the
Dublin Dr Pepper 112th birthday party. I still haven't had the chance to photograph the President though.

re post #187:
Methinks I may need to read backwards and find out what I've missed here today. (Forgot this thread was here; checked it out [of course!] when I got home.)
But, I'm gonna warn you now: If I'm helping with dinner, that help ain't gonna happen 'til AFTER my nap! ;)

No, that should have been "cellulite in motion."

Ahhhhhhhh, second thoughts about helping with that meal: Some German heritage here (and I've been called a "brat" at my "wurst"), but my German-style, Pennsylvania Dutch-style cooking doesn't include any recipes that use shepherds -- or dachshunds either, for that matter! ;)
Note to the person who keeps track of birthdays around here: hint, hint ... 9/30, September 30th, Sept. 30!
