What a bunch of crap. They blame the sad state if Africa throughout much of the 20th Century on the evil white men who put Apartheid in place. And on the evil white men in Russia and the US who staged "proxy wars" in Africa as part of the Cold War. Those things ended, yet Africa is even worse off today. How come?
Easy! The evil white men in the UN have failed to rescue the poor black folks from themselves!

If Africa ever reached a stage one could reasonably term "medieval", maybe then they could be expected to graduate to a renaissance; however, they have not even reached medieval yet.
As an advanced and civilized concept, medieval feudalism is about 10 notches higher than pre-medieval tribalism, IMHO...
