I know Jim was trying to fix something with one of the harddrives, but he said he would be finished by 7. So I get on at 7:15 and get kicked off. I'm happy that things look to be fixed around here, though.
Gramms, I did the same thing. Refresh, refresh, refresh.....
Good night ohio, sleep tight.

Sounds great....
Situated on three-and-a-half acres of meadows, the Arundel Meadows Inn is backed by lawn chairs which look out on flower gardens, grazing horses and rolling fields. The Kennebunk River runs along its southern border. The Inn is a half-hour drive from Maine's largest city, Portland, and some 45 minutes from Freeport, Maine.
This 165-year-old farmhouse combines the charm of antiques and art with the comfort of seven individually decorated bedrooms -- two are suites, three have fireplaces and all have private bathrooms. All guest rooms offer comfortable sitting areas for reading and relaxing and are decorated with art and antiques collected both locally and around the world.
The full buffet breakfasts are prepared by co-owner Mark Bachelder, who is a professional chef trained by internationally known teacher, author and television personality Madeleine Kamman. Each morning, breakfast includes fresh juice, fresh fruit compote, freshly baked pastries and various other inn specialties.
The Inn is a five-mile drive from the Kennebunk Beach and the town of Kennebunkport, home of former President George Bush. Excellent year-round restaurants, antique dealers, art galleries and shops of all kinds, from over a hundred discount stores to New England artisans, are all within a short drive from the Inn. There are several beaches within easy access, and two excellent golf courses are located in the immediate area.
The Arundel Meadows Inn offers spring and summer guests picnic areas in the meadows, flower gardens through which to stroll and lots of room for lounging, sun bathing and sipping afternoon tea. In the fall, foliage viewing is readily available, and winter means a crackling fire in the living room fireplace to welcome guests back from their cross-country skiing. Year 'round, there's plenty of hiking, shopping and just plain relaxing.

This has capped of a great Father's Day. Just seeing these two guys together- a dad and son, just like so many others, doing what they do best- being a daddy and his boy. I have always admired both of these guys (41 was the first Presidential vote I ever cast, 43 being the first Gubernatorial vote I ever cast) and seeing them together sharing time together is more validation of why I admire them. I don't have a son, but if I did I'd hope to be able to spend some "guy time" with him just like 41 and 43.
I lurk a lot, post every now and then, and it has been a long time since I have thanked you for doing this, night after night, week after week, month after month, for an 8 year run! I know the time commitment this takes, and believe me, we do get something out of your efforts. I think I can say that your daddy would be proud of your commitment to your friends here and to your President.

It sounds (and looks) wonderful! And everyone I know that lives there (that's you and Mr. B) are the nicest of people. I'm mighty tempted!
Ok...I am going to go fix a hot bath and read in the tub for a while. Good night!

BTW, Happy Father's Day to all you dads, grandpas, uncles, stepdads, godfathers, and father figures here on FR and the world around. May you continue to make a difference in a child's life.

Great grouping of pictures btw. Together they really tell a story, don't they? LOL! I remember 41 being something of a "Gerald Ford" on the golf course- I remember him hitting an errant ball into a crowd once. Apparently 43 knows this too.
