What syndrone?

Your problem is that many Americans will only vote for what they perceive as the truth or not vote at all, as this is what happened in '92.

With both parties lying, you should expect a third party to emerge.

Now what, if anything, are you going to do about it? Are you going to write letters to Bush and your congressmen to let your views be known. Would you ask them to be more truthful and enforce the laws of the US? Or are you going to ignore the immigration laws that are not enforced?

As the old saying goes, "The monkey's on your back" Not mine.

Your problem....

My problem? I didn't do anything to enable the Clintons in'92.

...is that many Americans will only vote for what they perceive as the truth or not vote at all, as this is what happened in '92.

You finally got it. That's what put the Clinton's in our White House. That's the syndrome. The Left used voter's principles, morals, and conscience to get into power and it worked.

With both parties lying, you should expect a third party to emerge. They, too, will do whatever it takes to stay in power, once they taste power. In the meantime, we have to go with the lesser of two evils.

Now what, if anything, are you going to do about it?

¿You? I'm not the one who might enable the Liberals. You are the one who who wants to cut and run and hide your head in the sand because someone might have told told you a fib.

Then what does "So whether we support a Bush replacement in 2004, as I do, or an independent party..." mean?

Oh, I see. I meant that I would prefer to see Tom Tancredo run in place of George W. Bush.

I admire George Bush for his honesty and courage, but I abhor his version of economics, his insensitivity to the working American and to our Veterans, as well as his disregard for the American community. I've seen first hand the destruction his open borders policy wreaks upon American communities and citizens, and I could never vote for him again, unless he changes, which I doubt will happen, since he's driven by his convictions, which is an admirable quality, too.

I don't think Tom Tancredo would even run against George Bush in the GOP primaries, but I hope for a better future in which people are just as important as business. For a true democracy, I believe the interests of both must be balanced. Yet, I certainly wouldn't vote for an independent or a Democrat, so I most likely won't vote at all next election.

regards,
risa

Well, let's see how consistent and reliable you are:

You said: I didn't throw out Bush in 1992. I've voted strictly Republican all my life.

and: You would vote for Republican Tom Trancredo.

But: But Joseph Sandowski is surely an admirable, brave soul to take on the Bush Administration.

And: So whether we support a Bush replacement in 2004, as I do,...

And you caution that: (scary, because Dems could win, and then we'll get libertarianism AND socialism) or work to make our voices heard, we first need to organize all the disparate voices out there.

Then: Yet, I certainly wouldn't vote for an independent or a Democrat, so I most likely won't vote at all next election.

I see a total inconsistency, unreliability, and illogic in your posts. You vote Republican all your life, yet you applaud people who challenge the person you voted for. You are afraid that the Dems/Socialists could win, so you want to work and organize to make voices heard, ............and then you want to drop out of the voting pool.

So, if you don't vote in '04, it belies what you said about voting Republican all your life, and if you're really scared about the Dems/Socialist taking over, then you wouldn't do anything that might enable then to get more power — like not voting for their opposition. You cancel yourself out. If you don't vote, you are not reliable to either the GOP or the to country, especially if it enables the party you claim to be scared of.

The difference between you and I is that I have moral standards on which I base my vote.

I have also been very distressed by much of what Pres Bush has been doing. I do support free trade though; it promotes efficiency.

As far as opening our borders, I am totally against doing so; we need to know who is in the country. I cannot see why Bush is blind to the terrorist threat from neighboring nations while he is so gung-ho about going after them in the middle east. Heck, as far as terrorists go I'm less worried about the southern border than the northern one!
