Deport 8 million illegal aliens and we take the pressure off the medical services and school systems. That fixes the gaping hole in many state budgets that are improperly funding services for illegals. It also takes a load off law enforcement. Shipping the Mexican illegals straight to Mexico City via the airlines could keep them solvent and out of walking distance back to the U.S. We would actually have a net benefit for "bailing out" the airlines.

The federal government could push the "workfare" approach to fill all those vacated service jobs in exchange for welfare checks. Our teen age kids might even have some summer jobs.

It is pathetic. We live in a country where you need a "license" to set up the smallest of "businesses" (you know the kind of thing; knitting/sewing, word-processing/typing). Yet one group of law breakers are not punished, but indeed, rewarded with free medical care, free schooling and discount college education not available to out-of-state citizens.

If I drive a car without a license I will be considered and treated as a criminal. I am not considered an "undocumented driver" and let off. If I practice medicine without a license I will be considered and treated as a criminal. I am not considered an "undocumented physician" and let off.

I am thinking of becoming an "undocumented taxpayer", do you think I will get in-state tuition rates at my local college?

Huh? Guiterrez is a complete moron!

Sure, Congressman. And I want amnesty for "sober" alcaholics and "honest" embezzlers while we're at it. Let's remind that socialist what the word "illegal" means, since he obviously doesn't understand:

"Illegal" \Il*le"gal\, a. [>adjective]

Meaning:

1. Not authorized by law; specif., contrary to, or in violation of, human law; unlawful; illicit; hence, immoral; as, an illegal act; illegal trade; illegal love. --Bp. Burnet.
2. Prohibited by law or by official or accepted rules.
Examples: "An illegal chess move"

Contrary:
legal
law-abiding

>> How 'bout we trade Illinois to Canada for the Western Provinces <<

I'd rather trade Luis to Puetro Rico or Mexico since he's obviously under the MISTAKEN impression that's he elected to represent THEIR interests-- instead of the tax-paying Illinois citizens of his district!

I'd pay round-trip expenses to dumb this jerk on them in exchange for someone with integrity like Mexican Congresswoman Eugenia Villaseñor

This makes me about as ill as how our government abandons women and children who are US citizens from seeking refuge at the US Embassy in Saudi due to the fact they cannot give them asylum because the husband must give 'permission', thats the real deal!

Or how about the multi million dollar contract the Pentagon of all places has given MCI/ Worldcom? I mean no punishment for those CEO's who robbed many of their pensions, no punishment, just an enormous amount of dollars in contracts.

I think he (D-IL)is right we need to do away w/ the border all together, the gov't of the US should take all the money it needs to take from the US taxpayers so that money can be given to the poor in Mexico and make EVERYONE on the American continent EQUAL. </ Dem-Lib think off>
