Surely you have some to demonstrate how I am "mischaracterizing numerous influences and socialogical phenomena", and what those influences and phenomena are (or, at the very least, where I read about it).

I don't have the time to demonstrate where you read about what you think you understand you're talking about.

In the middle of a work day, I often type too fast and skip words: Where can I read columns, studies, essays which demonstrate that you are right and I am wrong.

And my point was not a rash simplification, but a quick summary of my beliefs based upon what I have read and experienced. If exposition is needed, an inquiry should be made, not dismissal.
