Do we have an extradition treaty with Canada?

Hate crimes or crimes against humanity are considered serious. In these folk's eyes you'd rank right up there with the KKK et al.

I think the public outcry from the U.S. wouldn't let extradition happen.

Yes, but you'd be safe because the basic rule is that in order to extradite, the offence has to be a crime in the country that receives the request. The Canadian definition of "hate crime" is different from yours because it concerns "hate speech" and would never make it past your First Amendment.
