Great post and expresses my sentiments about the anti American left and the damage they do openly and without apology.

But Robert Meeropol is doing the kids he claims to help a disservice when he meets with them, teaching them that an unjust society and not their own negligent parents are to blame for their woes. Wonderful. Robert is getting the revenge he has mentioned he wants. When he goes to met his parents in hell, we'll have the kids he had indoctrinated to deal with. Why can't these lefties pick on some other country?

"Why can't these lefties pick on some other country?"
Because, without this country their ideal world of everybody being under communist rule might have happened and the slime can not get over it. That is one of the reasons they hate Reagan so much, he oversaw the final defeat of the ussr.

There seems to be a genetic defect that makes humans into evil lying left wingers who hate America.
Unfortunately for society and their off spring, that DNA genome defect appears to be transmitted genetically to many of their children.

Why can't these lefties pick on some other country? My sentiments, exactly.
If the Rosenbergs were alive today, on trial for the same crimes, convicted and I were the judge, I'd send them to the "chair" a second time and sleep well for it.

On the History Channel last night, David Greenglass was asked why he didn't flee the country (the Soviets gave his family and the Rosenbergs $10,000--over $70,000 in today's currency--to get out of dodge).
Greenglass said he didn't want to live in a "hell-hole" like the Soviet Union, China or any other country the Soviets would send him to.
So why the heck was he trying to make America into a Soviet Republic?
I don't get it.

If there wasn't a liberal bias in the media, would we be still hearing that the Rosenbergs weren't "that" guilty of treason and espionage?
Reminds me that last night I was at a bar playing an electronic triva game (questions are beamed nationally). There was a question as to which US Diplomat was suspected of being linked to the Communists. It was Alger Hiss. After the answer was given, it was stated that he was "suspected". We know now that he was GUILTY of espionage (even the KGB files supported this).
The left continues to spin history.

Greenglass clearly was a guy influenced by his older sister and brother in law and the times. But he knew enough that he wanted to live here. He sounded to me like a guy who with a different set of relatives/friends would never have been involved in such acts.
The Rosenbergs on the other hand were true believers in what turned out to be a criminal form of government. Many if not most knew by the 1940s but some did not and the USSR was a US ally in name so it is easy to why the Rosenbergs existed at that point in US history.
It amazing that anyone would still defend giving atomic secrets to Stalin or Hitler or Saddam etc. The children should just be happy the USSR never used those weapons making their parents just slightly less evil.

Hard to know what they were thinking, isn't it? From 1920 until most of them were dead in 1933, ethnic Germans wrote to their relatives in the United States about the Holodomor. German newspapers in the midwest printed the letters (The University of South Dakota has
reprinted them and has the newspapers archived). In addition, Gareth Jones, Malcolm Muggeridge and Eugene Lyons, among others, wrote hundreds of accounts before 1934 of the mass murder taking place (full texts archived
here). Anyone who wanted to know, knew.

Madelyne Albright said that the US being the world's lone superpower was a frightening concept. Clearly others on the left agree. And yet they cry foul when painted with the labels "UnAmerican" and "Stalin's Useful Idiots".

In Ronald Radosh's fine book, he mentions that there existed a variety of communist summer camps for children. Parents could take their pick of Stalinist, Trotskyist and other flavors.
