"
...for a time by sleeping on a mat in the home of an Iraqi family"I find some consolation in that these big wigs have lost the life of luxury, afraid of informants and revenge. May they all suffer ulcers and discomfort until they are caught or meet their maker on the way to H*ll. Oh yeah, a thousand curses on their mustaches too....

I experienced this type of offering with my first Lebanese Christian friend. It puzzled me and sometimes embarrassed me but I soon relaxed and realized it was part of her!I know the hospitality thing sounds extreme in this case but it is real!

Yeah, well, after the "houseguest" has left the building, how about trailing him as he departs--with a team of armed vigilantes.

I bet this "old army friend" now finds himself "a person of interest." Yep. Named Ahmed Dalaf, and the authorities are looking for him.
