One of the reasons why SARS has spread in China are free market reforms - socialised medicine was reduced/privatised etc ... As a result many people cannot afford the medical care and the SARS can spread free of government interference.

I guess bubonic plague and smallpox are free market Darwinian things. They can help the competition and survival of the fittest.
