I've bounced my head off pavement twice. If not for a helmet in both cases, I wouldn't be here typing. The trouble with people who don't wear helmets are the ones who unnecessarily become persistent vegetables after crashes and willy nilly ruin the lives of family left to care for them. Let the dims go w/o. We need as many conservatives as possible.
