Most of these NE states have a population of a small suburab of most major cities. I know the 2 senator system works, but I wish there was some way to change the primary system so that candidates had to work hard in ONE large and ONE small state for the opening round. That would smooth out the flaws of small states. IOWA, NH and SC are not real good views anymore of what Ameirca is all about.

Please. Let's not let Democrats off-the-hook with the "rolling back tax-cuts" line. What they are advocating is a $1T tax increase. We must hold them do that. The tax cuts are a done deal. So Democrats must sell the American people on raising taxes by $1 trillion.

A lot of Russert bashers here. Russert is one of the toughest and most evenhanded journalists out there. He grills almost everyone he interviews (exceptions are the non-political types that he has on occasionally). Compared to Schieffer and Stephanopolous, he is a godsend.

rarely watch MTP. I couldn't tell you the last time I did. But yesterday I watched Fox News while having breakfast, feeding the dogs, etc... When I finished with breakfast I started getting ready for a magic show I was performing for a corporate party yesterday afternoon (plotting my routine, what effects and tricks to include, what childrens stuff to bring, etc...) and decided to put on MTP for background noise. Had no idea Dean was going to be on. He got his ass handed to him badly yesterday. Real bad. It was almost embarassing how bad he got pummeled.

As a side note, the magic show was a great success. People love when you entertain their children at events kids do not usually enjoy and the people love seeing their boss messed with.
