Newcomers to Free Republic who wonder if we're all crazy when we talk about a pro-Democrat bias in the news media can keep an eye out for one word of this from any newspaper or television news outlet in the country.

This one is a "spiker." They'll spike this so fast it will be underground before it even sprouts.

If this had happened to a Republican, it would be another Trent Lott crusade. They would be hounding this individual until he resigned.

But this is a Democrat, so it will receive no coverage whatsoever.

NewsMax, maybe Drudge, perhaps Fox News. That's all. All the rest of them will pretend this never happened.
