I'm confused by your stance on morality. This is what you said on the other thread:

OK, so which is it ? Why don't gay people have the right to have their revolting lifestyle treated equitably by the government without all the commentary by the "moralizing pukes" as you so eloquently stated.

I do not think that the government should be conferring upon citizens financial or other benefits to squabble over, whether those citizens are married or unmarried, Native or non-Native.

The moralizing pukes who are looking for new areas of gubmint interference deserve to be chastised with rods; the lawyers who enable them should be 'piked'.

Moralizing pukes includes leftist social agitators as well as the Elmer Gantry set. They are of a piece to me.
