I predicted this very thing when the story was first posted. Nothing sells like controversy. She successfully escalated an obscure site visited only by a few academics into a pop culture phenomenon.

I guess you could say she's cutting off her ample nose to spite her face.

The site has won praise from the Sierra Club as a way to document violations of building laws, along with erosion and other changes. The U.S. Geological Survey and other agencies have used it.

I'm sure Babs did everything totally above-board, that no violations can be found in her case, and that privacy is truly the only factor in play here....

The real story is she's ashamed that people are able to see what a state of disrepair her house is in. Her finances are reportedly in shambles. This doesn't look good.

Streisand's suit was filed under seal May 20. But it became public when her lawyers didn't properly request a judge's permission to seal it

I smell another lawsuit for incompetence leading to ridicule.

I am tempted to say that Babs knew exactly what she was doing. After 70+ years in showbiz, she has to understand how publicity is generated and all the causes and effects. If she doesn't by now, then she really-really is THAT stupid.

Babs..like most wealthy people owns several homes in various parts of this country as well as in other countries
They are citizens of "the world" and imo their loyalty to this country is questionable to say the least..

The pictue of her extravagant lifestyle merely exposes to the world the hypocrisy of her "philosophy." Do you have any idea what the monthly electricity bill alone for these digs is?

Posted pictures of the residence of Ms. Streisand
“Shall be taken down” by her highness’s command.
Hey Babs, do not fret.
They’re all over the net.
Just shut-up and go pound private beach sand.

Hope Streisand gets a dose of her own liberal medicine.

But it became public when her lawyers didn't properly request a judge's permission to seal it, Adelman said.

In other words, they forgot. $250/hour doesn't go very far these days.
