The Prime Minister's popularity has taken a nosedive since the end of the war in Iraq, according to a new opinion poll. An ICM poll commissioned by the Guardian gives him a personal rating of minus 13, compared to plus 8 during the hostilities. The failure to provide evidence of Iraq's weapons, the controversial Cabinet reshuffle and the recent row over taxes are all given as factors. Labour's lead over the Tories is at its narrowest since the fuel crisis. The poll puts Labour on 38%, down three points since last month and just four points ahead of the Conservatives, who moved ahead five points from 29% to 34%. The Liberal Democrats were unchanged on 21%. Labour enjoyed a 12-point lead over Iain Duncan Smith's party in the same poll a month ago. The survey also suggests that support for the euro is at its lowest level since March 2001, down nine points from last month to just 21%, compared with 62% who are opposed to entry. * ICM interviewed 1,001 adults aged 18 and over by telephone between June 20 and 22.PM'S POPULARITY PLUMMETS
