To any Border Patrol agents who read these posts: It is NOT you that we blame for the sieve that pretends to be a border. It is the policy makers who have tied your hands and the Congresscritters that remove your authority. We know that you are serving our nation in one of the most dangerous - and also underpaid - positions there is.
We have no one to blame but ourselves for voting the cretins into office that we do. Until that changes, none of us deserve to complain about border security. I wish it were different. WE MUST MAKE BORDER SECURITY AN ELECTION ISSUE, ESPECIALLY IN CONGRESS.

Amazing, the guy could have died of ebola and we didn't do an autopsy. Sooner or later a dirty bomb will go off in one of our cities, or worse. I wonder if the public will get off their behinds and form enough of an opinion to impress a politician then. I doubt it really.

The coyote gets 1 year and 1 day for smuggling ME illegals. UNREAL!!! He got paid probably $40,000 to $50,000 for this.
There is no telling how many he smuggled previously. This looks like a very lucrative business. All from our southern neighbors that would never harm us. </sarcasm>

Very dangerous and very sad that our border situation is such a sieve.
This entire situation is one of the principle premises in my novel series (along with the dangers of abject outsourcing of our manufacturing, technical and agircultural base),
The Dragon's Fury Series
where the border sieve allows thousands and thousands of terrorists to cross into our nation over the years who then committ hundreds of terror attacks within our borders in conjunction with other major military actions by our enemies against us. A World War results that goes badly for us from the outset.
This story puntuates that possibility.
I pray we can get a handle on it...soon.
