I'd love to get DSL if I could get it for $20 a month. Right now its still too expense to justify a switch from dial up.

DSL is $39 in my part of the woods, but I'm too cheap and waiting for $20. Besides you can use the fast connections at work or school. Folks living just a few more miles east on the Appalachian highway are still stuck with 1950's switching equipment and 26k.

I made the mistake of going for a $19.95/mo DSL offer for 3 months with no obligation to continue. I was hooked and still have it one year later! I knew there was a reason for them doing that...

It is expensive, but I can never go back. My office is still dial-up and it frustrates me to no end.
