Airport Screeners May Get X-Ray Vision

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- A scanner the government is testing for airport screening reveals too much more than meets the eye to be comfortable for most passengers.

Susan Hallowell, director of the Transportation Security Administration's security laboratory, sacrificed a large measure of her own modesty Wednesday to demonstrate the problem.

She stepped into a metal booth that bounced X-rays off her skin to produce a black-and-white image that revealed enough to produce a world-class blush.

If you want to stop flying, that's ok ... It is YOUR decision, and I can see no reason why anyone should be forced to be 'viewed'. But as the airlines are a private company, I would also say that they can make up their own rules.

With that said, I have no wish to be blown to bits by some intellectually-retarded parsite with a hygene problem. If I have to show my tally-whacker to an inspector inorder to protect myself, I have no problem with that. The degenerates of Islam have decided to declare war on unarmed men, women and children. Perhaps the fact that they will more likely be caught, or at least their modesty removed will prevent them from doing this in the future.

I think that by the time one sees the first 20-50 people, the thrill is gone. So, the 'thrill' should last all of .... oh, maybe a minute or two.

And, I don't know about you, but have you been to an airport recently? Would you want to be forced to see everyone you see at an airport naked? There are some things I want left to my imagination.

Exactly. Anyone who thinks the above type image on even a really 'hot' chick is going to be a turn on for anyone working security is nuts. We live in a world full of visual erotica. This is no more erotic than staring at a naked manican.

Anyone who thinks airport security workers are even going to think about them 'looking like a naked manican' 3 seconds after they are gone is entirely too self-absorbed. The rest of the world is not obsessing on seeing crummy quality black and white images of human shapes. They want to know if you have a bomb.... not if you are da bomb.
