McDermott attacks Bush as liar over WMD during prescription debate on the floor

The debate is one of the nastiest I've seen on the floor of the House of all time--Nancy Johnson (R-CT) seems to be taking the brunt of the vicious attacks (and I do mean vicious) from the Democrats.

Jim McDermott (D-WA) just said the Republicans can't be trusted on prescription drugs because WMD have not been found in Iraq (he mistakenly said "Iran" first, at which time the Republican members took the opportunity to laugh hysterically at him). Called Bush a liar, at which time the Chair ordered him to sit down. Billy Tauzin (R) followed up by saying "It looks like we just found Baghdad Bob." McDermott broke in out of order and asked if it was appropriate for a member to do this, at which time he was again slapped down by the Chair as being out of order.

Frank Pallone (D-NJ) went completely crazy just after that--it was insane asylum material. Frank Stark (D-CA)now calling Ryan (R-WI) a liar.

That is for sure! After the Wellstone deal, I gave up on expecting them to have any class at all.

I am noticing that no RATs have voted NAY on recommitting the bill to Committee. They seem to be sticking together on this vote!

Yuck... Funny some things sound like us... want constitution adhered to etc... but they haven't even read it! Did you go through their manifesto of beliefs? Free everything and high taxes. Don't know where they'll get the cash after they bankrupt all our American businesses though.

I apologize for this, but if it McDermott is ever defeated, then the unclean thing is already in the holy place, and armageddon is upon us.

His district is downtown Seattle, and it could not be more liberal if it were in Red Square, Moscow, Russia. He routinely wins with more than 70% of the vote.

He'll be there until his brain finally finishes rotting.

You have to love the PacNW, a refuge for deep feelers.

The word tonight is that Little Tommy Dashcle might not even RUN or he might be DEFEATED and the Hildebeast wants his job.

The Clintons will DESTROY anyone and EVERYONE (dems included) in their way to the top!!!

Wonder who was givng Daschle all that great advice a few weeks ago when he was stepping in it at every turn??/ My guess is that Hildebeast was advising him....KNOWING that he would be made the fool and go down in flames!!!! Fnny thing is Tomm will think it was Rush that destroyed him, but really it will be the Clintons!!!
