I'm so clueless...all this time, never knew that the Ravens were named for THAT raven.

The Irishman who came to America, and began the lineage from which I come, landed in Baltimore in the 1600s, so there is a little Maryland in me.

LOL. Me too!! I had no idea - I just assumed they were named after the big black birds, I thought because Ravens are known to be pretty tough birds in nature. Hmmmmm.....learn something new everyday!
