"And Houston City Councilwoman Ada Edwards said the redistricting would shift power from inner-city, minority neighborhoods to Republicans."

Good Lord, your patience is amazing!

Thanks for posting this. I was in need of a laugh and P.J. O'Rourke always delivers. He sure nailed The Queen Bee with this one.

This is a GREAT review. This man actually read through that pile of ... , uh, paper.

Only trouble is, with reviews like this, Lying History has a chance to become a cult classic in the same vein as Rocky Horror.... LOL

After listening to Jiang Zemin explain that the Tibetans had been liberated by the Chinese, Hillary concludes, "I don't think Jiang . . . was being quite straight with me on Tibet."

Let's just say he was as straight with Hitlery as she has been with this work of fiction masquerading as a tome.

The Alpha-dork husband, the super-twerp wife, and the hyper-wonk vice president--together with all their mega-weenie water carriers, such as vicious pit gerbil George Stephanopoulos and Eastern diamondback rattleworm Sidney Blumenthal--spent eight years trying to make America nothing to brag about.

What a review, LOVED it!! Say a prayer that Hillary reads it, LOL!

Only PJ or Steyn could get laffs out of tedious dreck.
If Hillary's ghostwriters didn't have to be bound and gagged,
after seeing their output, they are bound to have gagged.

Glad I decided to spend my money on books that are worth something.

Oh, life is good. Matt Labash, Mark Steyn, and now P.J. O'Rourke. This almost makes up for not being able to find any recounting of adventures in Iraq with Chris Hitchens. Maybe in a book....I LOVE P.J.!!

Hillary failed the District of Columbia bar examination, but she passed in Arkansas

Surprised she allowed this to slip into her tome of lies. But not surprised she failed the DC bar....only an idiot would hang with dirty bill.

Bless his heart. He really did read it!

I bet PJ had to go through a couple of fifths of of scotch in order to steady himself for the ordeal...

"The book does not contain even a dog-worthy return to the vomit of the Lewinsky scandal"

This is my most favorite line.

"Living History" arrived from the publisher with a seven-page executive summary (itself ferociously tedious) that indicates no one is intended to read this book. Of course, a couple of people had to. There is the junior associate--doubtless a strong, intelligent woman--at the law firm of Bland and Blander who slogged through every word to make sure nothing was actionable. And then there's me. Poor me. But, except for us, "Living History" suffers the fate of modern poetry, with an authorship of many and an audience of none.

Here's to PJ for reading that garbage and saving the rest of us from the misery.

Speaking of amazon.com, those who have read her book need to go and give her some feedback and more stars. The liberals are making her star rating only 3 stars. Her avg star rating is the same as Hillary's book. That needs to be remedied.

". . . in the first jury trial I handled on my own, I defended a canning company against a plaintiff who found the rear end of a rat in the can of pork and beans he opened for dinner one night."

Prove it Hillary. We want the court transcript.

"The serious and stony-faced delegates suddenly leaped from their seats to give me a standing ovation. Delegates rushed to touch me, shout words of appreciation and thank me for coming."

... and the waters parted and a bright light descended from Heaven.

Puh-lease.
