The people who control the Pulitzer Prizes have always been leftists, as the nature of the awards makes clear. They will only vacate the Duranty award if they are sufficiently embarrassed to decide that it's now doing more harm than good to their agenda.
If they give in once, they are likely to be asked to give in again, since numerous egregious choices have been made over the years, although Duranty is probably the worst. So they will be reluctant to seem to give in under conservative pressure.
This issue definitely needs as much publicity as it can get.

The people who control the Pulitzer Prizes have always been leftists, as the nature of the awards makes clear. Finding that out...lol. Researching Eleanor Roosevolt last night, I stumbled upon Joseph Lash (1909-1987) who received a Pulitzer for a book on his good friend Eleanor.
