I told you her thesis was on Alinksy. LOL
Yes, the " good old boy COMMIE network " at its best ( worst ) was her playpen.

The "tenor of the times" seems to be the excuse.I think she incorporates this leftist thinking into her soul and will use it when it is politically viable. She would not tip too far left until she achieves appropriate power.

The author pretends there was a division between the old Marxists and the new Maoists yet there were intimate ties between the two. In the case of the SDS, the founder Alan Haber had been working for Eleanor Roosevelt's Student LID.
I am overwhelmed to see how much has been written to romanticize the red diaper babies that terrorized campuses and rallies throughout the 60s and 70s. In each case they write that incidents were caused by police violence. This completely ignores the horrendous violence that preceded police reactions to rioting.

Perhaps Alinskys Rules for Radicals were being employed."pushed hard enough a negative can become a positive..Violence from the other side engenders sympathy as the people love the underdog".Horowitz was very involved with the Black Panthers.I read a review/commentary of Radical Son that really sheds the light on the criminal, murderous nature of the BP and the blind support Horowitz gave them. The unrepentent rdbs are naturally going to cast themselves as underdog.
