Maybe that is due to the fact that Hillary's book has been discounted up to 30% and maybe even more !! "Treason" wasn't on 'sale' when I bought my copy.

I picked my copy of Treason up today on my lunch break. I actually got it for 30% off at the Barnes & Noble here in Lakeland (FL). Annie's book was actually well-displayed, right up front on the bestsellers shelves, directly below the display of Her Heinous' bound pack of lies. To be completely fair, this is a very conservative area, so the B & N folks must know they can't get away with the "hide the conservative's book" antics they pull in so many other parts of the country.

Anyway, there were only three copies of Annie's book left (two after I made my purchase), while the shelf space reserved for the Beast was full! The clerk, who was very nice, said that Treason was flying off the shelves, and that she might have to read it herself to see why it was so popular. Warmed the cockles of my heart, it did.

Unfortunately, now I have to work the rest of the day before I can go home and start reading Treason - it's going to be a loooooooong afternoon.

I live in a very Liberal area. B&N has Ann's book in a very favorable display, too. They don't count the best sellers until the end of the week, and Ann's book hasn't been out long enough to be counted.
hillary's book was #1 last week, so she's in that slot (11 of the 12 slots still full). Right by that display is a cardboard stand with a big picture of Ann, and room for maybe 24 books, but only 8 were there. Ann's book was also prominent on the "New Non-Fiction" table, and about 8 were in that stack.
Treason isn't 30% off yet - they only do that for Best Sellers, so I'm waiting until next week to buy my copy.

B&N purchased displays for Treason for each and every one of their stores. B&N is in the business of selling books, or so it seems.
