... get out of the line of fire. My closest experience was waiting for a subway train. An old lady said she had a gun, rummaging around in her purse in
response to an old, blind singing panhandler being harassed by an old drunk.
Nothing came of it, but I remember going through my options, including dropping below the platform on to the tracks,
trying to gauge when the next train was coming.
