Unfortunately, while most of the people who came to this country were Christians, many of our founding fathers were landed gentry and Freemasons, as can be easily verified by doing a google search. Remember this was called the "New World", and our New World Order destiny was laid by the founders back then. There were only a handful of founding fathers who opposed the new constitution, George Mason and Patrick Henry being two. Evidence of our masonic roots can be seen all over Washington, DC as shown in this book:

The Secret Architecture of Our Nation's Capital : The Masons and the Building of Washington, D.C.
by David Ovason
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060195371/email0b/104-4358177-2907941

I recently read, and could not remember where, that George Washington, who was a 33rd Degree Mason, recanted 10 minutes before he died, with the breath being choked out of him. I asked a docent at Mt. Vernon in the past year if he had died of epiglottis, and was told no, it was quinsy (?) I also read recently that George was going to spill the beans on the Masons, and that his Masonic doctors bled him to death. I looked it up, but I've forgotten exactly what that was. So lo and behold, I pull up this interesting account from the GWMemorial website. They talk about him being bled, but not murdered. An interesting side-note is his request not to be buried for three days. I had heard this before. An interesting remark (!) "It was reported that about ten minutes before he expired, his breathing became easier." Hopefully, George did give his life to Christ; better late than never!

It's worse-the extra-terresterals actually orchestrated his death. I read it on a web site & then it just disappeared! I am afraid they are monitoring my email & the Masons have promised I & my family will suffer a horrible death if I say any more.

It started long before 1960.

In his December, 1908 annual Message to Congress, Theodore Roosevelt called upon the nation's courts to accommodate a new "economic and social philosophy" of the 20th century. He wanted the courts to accomodate social and political problems in the review of law. His ideas are considered the foundation for "Legal Realism," the philosophy of judicial activism. Roosevelt would go on to preach these ideas with an even more radical tone during the election of 1912, during which he called for "judicial recall," a popular-vote veto of judicial decisions, and for easier amendment of the Constitution (by simple majority vote of the people).

While some today might wish for a plebiscite to overrule stupidity on the Court, had Roosevelt's ideas won, things would be far worse than they are today. The problem is not judicial review, it is judicial activism.

Believe it or not, back in 1908, the New York Times understood where Roosevelt's ideas would go. You might recognize it, as they called it precisely:

When Judges once get away from the law and the principles of justice, and begin to dabble in twentieth century economic and social philosophy [Roosevelt’s words], they will find themselves upon an uncharted sea, where it may be each will be inclined to sail his own craft according to his own brand of the twentieth century article.
Just so. But don't fret so much. The Courts have always reflected a political consensus, although usually a generation behind. The Rhenquist court is still mired in the 1970s. The Scalia court will better reflect the post-1995 liberal nightmare.

<< Yes, I have contended from the first that this was the twin of Roe v. Wade, a frontal attack to the natural law. >>

Nope.

Sorry to be the one to tell you.

But you're wrong about that.

This one'll leave Roe v Wade for dead.

[Or will inspire President Bush to put Judges on the once-supreme "court"]

Where will we find these candidates who will follow the Constitution? It seems to me, the only two viable political parties control, for all practical purposes, who is going to be running. (I believe it was Boss Tweed who said that he didn't care who did the voting as long as he got to do the nominating.)

Do you realize that half (that I know of) of the six Justices who upheld Affirmative Action (quotas), were appointed by Republicans. There had to be GOP appointees who were in the majority on the Texas sodomy case.

I do not know if what has been happening in this country, especially since the FDR administration, has happened because it is preordained (according to the scriptures) or because of the machinations of a very powerful and secretive group of men (conspiracy theory). But I am certain that it has not been an historical accident or part of the natural course of human and natural events.

I am not sure we can stop what is happening. But at least there is some comfort and a little hope, at this and other CONSERVATIVE websites. I am dead, solid certain we will not stop it merely by electing Republicans to high offices. Because, what the liberals fail to implement in their time in power seems to come about anyway, when they are not.

This one will bring down the Pillars.

You are absolutely right! It is a watershed moment in US history As the author notes:

At present, we are no longer a nation under God in the public forum, we no longer hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created with certain inalienable rights -- certainly not the right to life. And we are no longer founded upon the laws of nature and the law’s of nature’s God.

As Americans, we still have the ability to change the course along which our country is headed. And it requires very little - get out and vote! Vote those who have brought this shame on us, out of office!

There is a movement afoot to change the US Constitution, to eliminate the Electoral College and switch to the popular vote system. Were they to succeed, this country would completely collapse.

Whatever happened to "thou shalt not commit adultery?" Doesn't this include sodomy, carnal knowledge, fornication, and various other sex crimes? And by the way, the Fourth Amendment does not prevent the States from criminalizing conduct within our own homes, it merely prevents the Government from spying on us.

I see the downward spiral; however, one must have hope.

Hope is good; prayer is better! Remember though that God helps those who help each other. This is war and we must fight back. This is done in the voting booth! Only We The People, can save this country.

Also remember, this is a quote from Chaucer, not from the Bible. Nevertheless, we must fight!
