Bingo, The book is about Liberals siding with our enemies and their neglect of our National Security. The McCarthy defense is not an endorsement of McCarthy as it was an indictment of Liberalism and how McCarthy was correct about the Soviet spies that infiltrated the democratic party.

This is criticism of her book for leaving out a flaw in McCarty's character is kinda cherry picking an omission of details bout McCarthy than it is on the point of the book

And this point, is being totaly ignored, twisted, and/or tied up in vast Gordian knots, by Dorothy and her little helpers here.

Well, I kind of think it's important that if we are to believe that McCarthy was correct in his crusade, that we should also know that McCarthy wasn't involved in any other asinine crusades. For example, if Carter says we should not have a war in Iraq, I think before we accept his opinion, we shouldn't overlook the years of moronic behavior and policy decisions on his part.

From the interviews I've seen, Coulter's opinions are very much based in the integrity of McCarthy:
