what happened to the first amendment?
How does the First Amendment play into this? Is Michael Savage facing criminal charges specifically because of what he said? Is he facing any kind of legal consequences at all as a direct result of his words?

I LOVE Michael Savage...and I disagree with him on a lot of things. The reason: he is unpredictable. You don't get a sense that he is doing his show based on talking points from any party or candidate. YES he is all over the place politically...and that is refreshing. He is less a propagandist and electronic radio campaign manager than a person with very firm beliefs. He's a breath of fresh air. I have to admit I turn off the other ones most of the time because I know what they're going to say before they say it and how they're going to say it. Savage keeps me guessing.
BIG mistake for MSNBC which is now homogenizing its programming.

Quite frankly, Savage is a disgrace to conservativism. I'm glad he got fired, he deserved it. Now, if we can only get him on the radio...
