The MSNBC deal was a setup - Savage is better than MSNBC. Sad thing is that was the only reason my tivo had MSNBC as an active channel. MSNBC has been purged from my lineup! No more surfing by them for me!

Here comes the truth: "some of that is true, there's much more to the story than you heard. I was in the middle of an airline story horror story, (people) in costumes, we had a bbq on the roof, all of a sudden out of nowhere this crank caller came on from another radio station, I reacted to him personally individually. In no way did my comments reflect my views on disease and suffering. This was an interchange between me and the crank caller (only).

Savage is spinning his dismissal; says he thought his conversation with the caller was a set up, and he thought it was off-air, not live. hahaha yeh, right....which is it, Michael?

Hmm, not sure what to think of this, except that he's thinking of his future earnings. I don't blame him. He's one guy against the homo lobby, and they're much richer and more powerful than he is.

Caller: "this is a classic thing that enemies do to those on top"

M: Steve you're right.....

Caller: you'll have another show, you were hit very hard

M: Steve, how did you find this show today? Since there's been no advertising on this, how did you find me today in San Francisco?

Caller: I've been a fan since the other show, and I watched on the internet boards where you've been.

I knew from the beginning that MSNBC didn't have the guts to keep him on or let him speak his mind. They're all punk cowards, every last rotten, stinking, leftist member of their network.

Savage is giving them all hell, today, and good for them.

"Caller: you don't need to apologize for anything you said, you're supposed to have free speech"

Someone needs to learn that just because we have a right to say anything we want doesn't mean we aren't still responsible for what we say and shouldn't use good judgment before we open our mouths.

The sensitive Republicans in this forum who don't have the guts for political language are the ones who have handed this party defeat after defeat.

When liberals call you racists, sexists, homophobes, you run for cover and immediately hang your bretheren out to dry. You can't wait to show your moral superiority; you love being able flaunt your so-called moderation.

You're cowards and moral opportunists. You people don't have the guts to win the political war. People like Savage and Coulter do.

What Savage said was a little over the top. But just a little.

Would he be more acceptable if he talked about who he golfed with last weekend and which important person he is sharing a dinner table with tonight? Yaaaawn.

Agree. You must ALWAYS assume that you're on the air or being taped. I mean, look at the market for unauthorized out-takes. From the time the crew mans the sound board and the cameras, you must assume everyone in America is watching and listening.

118??? LOL! I have been corresponding with a FReeper who lives near Seattle. She was telling me it was 54 (I think she said) in the morning! They think that 90 is unbearable, and that only happens a couple of times a year!!

She invited me and my dog to visit her in late August ... Ya think I'd miss much "coolth" around here if I go? ;-)
