Don't hold your breath. Liberals can get away with this kind of hate.
Remember the columnist's Julianne Malveaux [sp?] comment about Clarence Thomas?
After his confirmation, she said, "Since he is appointed for life, the best we can hope for now is for him to eat too many fried foods and die an early death."
The other liberals in the press never took her to task for the remarks.
I listened to Neil Rogers for years when I lived in South FLA.
These kinds of outrageous comments are part of what makes him popular. They are not going to fire him.
I can tell you that even though I disagreed with his politics..I found him so witty and entertaining...not to mention one of the best radio voices I've ever heard..that I just loved listening to him.
Some of his stuff is just gross and juvenile...like fart sounds etc. But otherwise he is incredibly talented...and makes tons of money. I was in a business where I had the opportunity to view his tax returns..declared income etc.
Reporting intentionally, blatantly false "news" with intent to cause others fear or emotional distress is a major, major, MAJOR FCC violation, and can cause the station their license.
If this person isn't off their payroll by 5 pm tomorrow, it is time for us to start sending off our formal complaints to the FCC. Any citizen can file a complaint on such a matter, and the FCC takes them VERY seriously if there turns out to be any truth to the matter.
You can make all the sick jokes you want, but it you intentionally report as news that which is completely fabricated, you're in biiiiiig trouble.
