Anyone know how many of the 55 have been either killed or captured to date?
I thought I recently heard that it was 38 out of the 55, and these two would then make it 40, but I really don't know.

It's 34 out of 55. 33 are in the deck of 52; 1 is not.
We now have all of the 7s in the deck. We're still missing a 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, J, J, J, Q, K, K, K, A, A, A. The Aces are Saddam & Sons. Chemical Ali is one of the Kings; the Brits claimed he was killed during the war.
We'll never get all of them; Martin Bormann was never found (although there were reports he died in Berlin). Some may take a long time (like Adolf Eichmann). We do need to find Mr. Big and his two sons; I'm confident we eventually will get them.

According to FL_Engineer's count as of very late last night (he's already got Mizban Khadr Hadi as captured on 5/1 using V Corps via CBS as the source, and he's still counting Chemical Ali as dead), the addition of Mahmud Dhiyab al-Ahmad would make 40.

(Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, air-burst artillery and thermonuclear weapons)
