Apparently you do not know the difference between ad hominem and invective discussion. Invective criticism always has a large grain of truth in it which is what all of her names include. For a simple exercise, please name one liberal who is not a pantywaste?? Or are you just trying to censor her like most braindead liberals???
Pray for GW and the Truth

I actually like that writing style. Though others here probably could have told me already, I must be shrill, too.
Hmmm...it sells books...

There's no way Hillary's book is beating Ann's - NO WAY.
Amazon has Ann's book at #2 last week - while Hitlery has dropped to #11.
The Times is LYING AGAIN - but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

"granted, i haven't read her books..."
then don't you think you should be a little more informed about the book in question before you criticize it and the author? Wouldn't that be the GROWN UP thing to do since you seem to be so fond of telling everyone else (who HAS read her book)to grow up? You sound like so many liberals, such as the 'esteemed' interviewer Grossman, who simply spew their feelings without rational logic or factual information. Your opinion is baseless as far as i'm concerned.

Yup, i do think it's the DNC who's buying up all hitlery's books--them and any crony who wants to curry favor with hitlery probably also has to pony up some money, too. But hey, that's fine--if the DNC wants to spend its money to falsify the true sales data of lying history, then that's fewer dollars to help demorats get elected! fine by me.

Here's the Ann pic that was published with the interview. IMHO, not one of her best; her eyes are sort of squinty.

I think it's a nice way to say bitch!

Here's the cover of the Time Magazine issue in which this interview was published
The white lettering says (emphasis mine), "Three months after Baghdad fell, Americans are
still struggling to bring order out of chaos.
Is this any way to run an occupation?"
See, this is exactly what Ann was taking about. We are at war. Why can't both parties pull together for the sake of the country? The RATS seem to delight in the killing of our soldiers in Iraq.
And, from what I've read elsewhere, certainly not in Time Mag, there are thousands of Iraquis that would strongly disagree with the red text. For them, "Peace is WONDERFUL!!!"

I actually like that writing style. I do too. She is incisive and clever. Reading it, I got the impression some of the elegant phrases were composed in her head on Geraldo during the Clinton years as liberals screamed over her everytime she tried to talk. Or she went home in a stew thinking, "If only they had let me talk, this is what I would have said."

"granted, i haven't read her books..." why the ellipses?
it wasn't a very long sentence i wrote. :^)

Bush should nominate Ann Coulter for the Supreme Court when the next vacancy, hopefully O'Connor, opens up. She's a solid conservative, a Constitutional lawyer, and she'd produce some of the most interesting opinions the Court has ever seen, especially in dissent (which hopefully wouldn't happen too often).

granted, i haven't read her books, only her newspaper columns. (slaps forehead) So because you're obviously not qualifed to comment on her entire body of work, you're content to take the word of her detractors. I get it now.

Could it be that the DU is secretly buying all of Hitlery's books????? Hmmmmm.............. Nope, none of the 2 dozen people over there can afford it.

Slander was a great book

My guess is that Time Mag had to go out of their way to take an unflattering picture of ann. And i'll bet those squinty eyes was exactly the image they were trying to convey. The liberal press will stop at nothing to mock/humiliate/ridicule conservative ideas or champions. Did you notice how one of this guy's 10 questions had to do with ann's perceived 'shrill' note? How is that for a biased word? He could have asked zillions of relevant, astute questions, but no, he asked her why she was such a shrew. Typical liberal crap.
To: HardStarboard
I particularly liked that quote too.
I just finished "Treason", and I have to say Ann is brilliant. I don't know how she gathered all of the information in the book, from so many diverse sources, and organized it in a coherent book about liberals. It is chock full of the most damning quotes from liberals, both past and present. I think some money could be made simply by printing a list of all of the stand alone quotes from her book.
