Yup. I very recently did the second home thing in the Coachella Valley, but it was too late, really. I did it anyway, because I just wanted to do it. Desert sand is still cheaper than beach sand. The joy however, is that I get to do some more landscaping and implement a vision in my mind. Everyone needs a hobby.
