MEXICO CITY — Manuel de la Cruz, the first U.S. citizen ever to win a seat in Mexico's Congress, has a modest platform — to make the United States of America a Mexican electoral district.

Mr. de la Cruz, born in Zacatecas, Mexico, but a longtime resident of Norwalk, Calif., is one of six Mexican-Americans who live in the United States and ran for office here in Sunday's national elections.

Mr. de la Cruz said he envisions a kind of virtual Mexico north of the border. "That would be perfect," he said. He and Mr. Medina, along with three of the other U.S.-based candidates, ran under the banner of the left-leaning Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), Mexico's third-largest political party. The PRD now has official committees in California, Illinois and three other states. It envisions raising the yellow-and-black PRD banner in eight more states this year. "All the way to Hawaii," Mr. Medina said.

Yup, looks like they're gonna assimilate just fine! /sarcasm. Plus, we're importing droves of the REALLY CONSERVATIVE ones...Uhuh.../sarcasm

It is already against the law to swear allegiance to another nation. Especially if you are a naturalised citizen. It's time to strip these bastards of the citizenship and ship them out.

I won't hold my breath though, the NAFTA backing ass kissing RNC wants to protect all the maquiladoras and cheap labor that bring more profits to the corporate class that finances both the DNC and RNC.

This country has had a "FOR SALE" sign on the window for sometime now, and we are the ones being sold.

I believe Mexican nationals have already participated in at least one Mexican ballot up here.  Dual citizenship US citizens were eligable to participate if they wanted to.

Let's start looking at this situation realisticly.  El Presidente' Fox spends more time worrying about citizens in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California than George Bush does.  Sure they are Mexican nationals, but we have nobody taking up our cause north of the border.  Bush is AWOL.  He couldn't buy a clue with the entire US yearly GNP.  Our system is disintigrating north of the border.  Perhaps we should side with Fox and ask him to represent us.  Somebody should.

George Bush, you've had two and one half years to get up to speed on this issue and start taking some preventative measures.  I'm sick and tired of renamed agencies, the never ending immigration manpower waltz, which sees staff shifted as if something's really being done, when it isn't.

Is it too late to cancel your return ticket from Africa.  Why don't you just spend your time over there fawning over the travesty of 1500s Africa, and we'll deal over here with the travesty of 2000's USA.  It sure as hell doesn't interest you.
