"Shall We Dance?" is about an overworked Chicago accountant, played by Gere, who takes ballroom-dancing lessons to impress a beautiful young dance teacher, portrayed by J.Lo. Sarandon is Gere's wife.

Based on a Japanese movie of the same name. Very subtle and well done. A pity that Hollywood will ruin a good film.

I agree. The Japanese movie was excellent and Hollywood will do nothing but ruin it.
